Happy Halloween Wishes from Flute!

Flute and pups wish everyone a Happy Halloween! What was Flute this year? See for yourself!

Flute loves Halloween. This year, she helped pass out candy to trick-or-treaters with her friend, Captain Jack Sparrow (yes, that's really his name)!

Jack is a carting dog. He pulls the Convict Bear, who has the bowl of candy.
A Squirrel!

Flute wears her costume proudly. Flute loves dress-up.
Not only a Squirrel, but a Squirrel who ate too many nuts!

"I've got a belly full of pups ... I mean NUTS,!"says the proud Squirrel.
You can see how large Flute is from these shots, which were taken with about 2 weeks before pups will be born.

"I'm hungry for more nuts!," exclaims Flute.
Always in character, Flute took her role of Squirrel seriously.

A couple of years ago, Flute won a costume contest when she portrayed a High Strung Race Horse. See more photos here.

"Where is my stable chicken?," asks Flute, the Racehorse.

Two Weeks to Puppies!

Flute's pups are almost here! November 11 is the due date.

Flute enjoys a beautiful Autumn day

"I'm lookin' at you. Can you read my mind?," asks Flute

"Every day is better with belly patting," thinks Flute

Fun for Flute

Agility and playing at our training place, Zoom Room Milwaukee, were some of Flute's favorite activities before she was pregnant.

Now, Flute still enjoys playing at Zoom Room, but she takes it easy and focuses on toys!

While Flute enjoys going through the chute, she likes being ON the chute even more

Flute LOVES to collect toys and squeak them while lying on the chute

"I need a belly rub STAT!," says Flute

Clearly, with 2.5 weeks to go, even playing with toys can be tiring!

"Rub My Belly!," commands Flute.

"Yes, Your Highness," is the only proper response :-).

You may see a lot of Flute's belly on this blog because Flute likes to "present" her belly to be patted. In this photo, Flute has 3 weeks to go before pups are born. Before she was pregnant, Flute liked to bulldoze her head into my chest and do a somersault to have her belly patted. Now, she rolls on her side and gives me the eye until I cater to her wishes!

Note Flute giving me the eye in this photo ...
If you have a schnauzer, you know that mere humans are powerless under the pointed schnauzer gaze.
